Deputy Representative for North Eastern State

1. Role & Responsibilities

In her capacity as the Deputy Representative, Maryan focuses on the grassroots implementation of Sincad's policies across Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn (SSC). Her primary responsibilities include:

1. Community Outreach: Acting as the lead liaison between the party and local women’s groups, youth organizations, and traditional elders to ensure the party’s platform reflects the actual needs of the people.
2. Social Policy Development: Leading initiatives related to education, healthcare, and social welfare—key areas of reconstruction for the North Eastern State following its transition to a federal member state.
3. Institutional Building: Assisting in the establishment of regional party offices and ensuring that the party's operations in Las Anod and surrounding districts are transparent and accessible to the public.

2. Political Advocacy

Maryan is a vocal advocate for:

1. Women's Political Participation: She serves as a role model for women in the North East, encouraging their active involvement in the state-building process and leadership roles within Sincad.
2. Sustainable Development: Focusing on projects that create local jobs for youth and provide stability for families in the region.
3. National Integration: Supporting the North Eastern State’s formal integration into the Federal Government of Somalia, ensuring that the region receives its fair share of national resources.
